The FBI has recovered over 7,000 decryption keys for the LockBit ransomware and urges victims to contact their Internet Crime Complaint Center for assistance in recovering encrypted data. This recovery is part of an ongoing effort named “Operation Cronos,” which previously took down 34 LockBit servers and seized decryption keys. Despite these efforts, LockBit continues to operate using the new infrastructure.
