Cryptocurrency hacks are down 15% in the last year but hackers are still targeting DeFi (Decentralized Finance) protocols, stealing almost 71 million in November alone. There has been a 150% increase in DeFi hacking of cryptocurrencies and smart-contract hacking. As DeFi and cryptocurrencies gain more traction in the world economy, more and more emphasis will be needed on keeping these protocols secure.
