Researchers have identified a new Android banking trojan called BingoMod, which not only steals money through fraudulent transactions but also erases the device’s data to cover its tracks. Discovered by Cleafy in May 2024, this trojan employs advanced remote access techniques and includes a self-destruction feature to obstruct forensic analysis.
